The Suspension & Brakes

Ok, I debated heavily concerning what suspension components to go with.  The aftermarket world provides so many choices for classic mustangs.  I finally settled on a complete Grab-A-Trak setup (except the shocks, which I used Koni's instead), with bolt-on subframe connectors, and Stainless Steel Brakes.

Here are before and after pictures of the front suspension.  I opted for all polyurethane, instead of the standard rubber.  I also upgraded the front sway bar to the 1" model.  Lastly, the springs will allow for a 1" drop in the front. I have also installed subframe connectors.  I used the bolt on kind to avoid having to weld to the undercoated body. Sub Frame Connectors.jpg (247394 bytes)
Here is a picture of the installed front disc brakes.  They are the 4 piston Stainless Steel brakes that are included with the power brake conversion kit. Front Brakes.jpg (277101 bytes)
